"Byrd! The Musical"
One of the ideas on my list of future projects is a bit unconventional.
(Okay, sure, most of them are a bit unconventional.)
(Okay, fine. ALL of them are.)
It's called "Byrd! The Musical" and it's a hilarious (hopefully) musical tribute to Sen. Robert Byrd of West Virginia, the former KKK member who has become an eloquent voice of reason on many issues in recent years (though not on the massive and often absurd funneling of federal dollars to foolish projects in his state).
I saw this photo on another blog today, and thought that without the text at the bottom, it could be a great poster for "Byrd! The Musical"
I have a file of scribblings and song titles and lyrics-in-progress for "Byrd!" ... if you have any ideas to add to the mix, post 'em in Comments.
